Born as a creative soul, Joshua Perry was immersed in art from childhood. As a second generation artist his genetics have been nurtured and mentored to push beyond, always testing his limits and creative boundaries.
Trained as an artist in many different genres and mediums, Josh’s free spirit brought him to unique projects such as large murals in NYC and then to the specialty painting industry for high-end residential and commercial applications.
Leveraging his repertoire of classic artistry skills, Josh has perfected the ability to mix usual mediums to create one-of- a-kind finishes. Balancing the fine line between being a supporting finish in a room and being the focus of a room, Josh’s work reflects his passion.
From his mastery of the unique, Josh now finds his skills branching to new mediums such as textiles and canvas and back to his ‘roots’ with these skills. His experimentation with glass, beads, lacquers, hologram, acrylics; are now finding new applications in furniture, fabrics, concrete and cabinetry.
As a true collaborator, Josh has worked with leading designers and architectural firms on challenging projects both grand in scale and complexity. His ability to ‘solve’ and ‘research’ have been integral to his success in working closely with these leading firms. His lack of being satisfied with ‘status quo’ has pushed him to the forefront of pioneering amazing new finishing.
