The Art and Business of Faux Finishing

[ Day One ] [ Day Two] [ Day Three ] [ Day Four ] [ Day Five ]

European Texture Faux Finishes

Texture faux finishes are what sets a true decorative artist apart from the rest! Day Five will include some of the most spectacular faux finishes the studio has created. We will work on brick and stone techniques, Venetian plaster, Embossed Florentine stone, an Old World metal finish, as well as handrubbed Tuscan plaster overlayed on faux brick. We will manipulate textures with Venetian trowels, as well as burnishing and scraper tools to achieve the desired effects!
